Manabie is a global edutech company headquartered in Singapore with development teams in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Japan. We are currently expanding our product team and are looking for a product manager who can lead product development and take on the challenge to improve education.

What you'll do:

  • Understand the business background, join grooming specifications and identify missing user stories, brainstorm negative cases with the product manager and software engineers.
  • Build a comprehensive and well-structured test plan for every feature & keep all test cases updated.
  • Detect bugs before and after feature release, log bugs, then follow up with other stakeholders for bug fixing timeline.
  • Maintain all QA documents in the development team.
  • Conduct weekly testing sessions with the development team along with self-exploratory testing sessions.
  • Check and find ways to increase the auto test coverage percentage of the development team.
  • Join sprint meetings and necessary meetings with other stakeholders and contribute to improving any issue of the development team.
  • Liaise with product managers & other stakeholders during the development life cycle to update functional logic and prioritize backlog if needed.
  • Be attentive to make sure all stakeholders follow all agreed workflows.
  • Be proactive in leading yourself and controlling your own tasks during the sprint to match with sprint goals.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ yr experience in testing web applications and mobile applications
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with automated testing is a plus
  • Strong ability to analyze requirements and brainstorm ideas and convert them to detailed test cases (positive, negative, exceptions, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of software testing types and the ways to apply them
  • Knowledge of the SDLC methodologies and the ability to integrate automated testing with the Agile model
  • The knack and willingness to learn new things
  • Accuracy & precision, effective teamwork, self-organization, flexibility.
  • Logical thinking, user-focus mindset.

Nice-to-have:

  • English intermediate level (TOEIC 600).
